Ekkehard Ehlers

In 'A Life Without Fear', Ekkehard Ehlers' abtract audio (be it digital or analog) manipulations are totally based on the total deconstruction of the Delta Blues structure. His subtle sonic layering and tweaking, in many ways similar to the work of Akira Rebelais, act in consonance to analog interventions in guitar and piano. The source amalgam, consisted of old samples, pre studio or live recordings, lead to a somehow musicological and aesthetical experience. Impressive.
